Hoover LINX Review
I bought this Hoover LINX after reading some user reviews and seeing the TV commercial. I have Scottish Terrers home bringing the outside inside every day. This little cordless vacuum is great help to handle their combined footprint. I was astonished realizing its excellent suction power. Its capability to turn off roller significantly helps to handle area rug fringes.
However, battery power is certain thing that leads me into major disappointment. You cannot waste your time since your battery life limits your square coverage. I normally was able to cover up to 12 by 14 room on a single charge. An extra battery might reduce this issue. However, you are given for about four hours to fully charge the battery. This is to say that their battery options are only able to be used for a small size room cleaning. This Hoover LINX should really give five stars rating if the battery receives improvements.
However, I got informed after my battery failed. The battery should not be stored in the charger. This the way I kept my battery. I found nothing about it in the instructions, but it said that storing the battery in the charger could cause damage and cause it to fall. It is fine to leave the battery several hours or even overnight, but be sure to take it out of the charger. You should put it in the vacuum. Your battery will maintain the full charge disregards of how long you store it in the vacuum. Fortunately, there is 2 years of warranty for the battery, and they sent me a new one.
With this instruction in my mind, and the “fade-free” feature of the product, the battery life is pretty good. Hoover LINX serves at full power for cleaning the floors the whole time. I am more than satisfied. I can do everything I want to clean in only a single charge.

I researched about every cordless stick-vac out there and took a chance on the Hoover LINX. I needed something for vacation home for “in-between” traditional vacuuming. Kudos to Hoover — this vac is awesome! I have been careful with battery charging (remove battery from charger and put back in vac when fully charged, and also drain entire charge before recharging) and haven’t had a single problem. This product works great. My wife does hair and we use it to clean up the floor in between clients. It works great! We also use it to vacuum up food under the table after the kids are done eating(1 yr old and 3 yr old) and its a life saver. It makes cleaning up easy and my 3 year old even wants to help now. he always wants to vacuum up after we get done eating. It works great on our rugs and door mats as well. In my opinion it doesnt take the place of your regular vacuum for the carpet.
