I will say that this product is terrific. I am one of the happiest persons with the arrival of this product seeing what it can do at my house. I apply carpet in most part of my house floor, and even the stairs are carpeted. For me, a lightweight vacuum, which is reliable to ensure truly clean, is needed.
The Hoover UH30010COM is really practical and easy to transport from upstairs to down, and from room to room. I haven’t realized this lightweight matter (this product weighs only 2 to 3 pounds) till I compared what I feel when I used my old vacuum. My old vacuum really needs so much stooping to get tools and change setting, and also heavier, which is not really helpful at my house. It even offers a longer cord and a handle for stair cleaning.
You may mention some of its competitors such as Hoover, Riccar RSL5, Oreck XL Gold, and Oreck XL Platinum. They include canister for prices ranging from $300 to $800 with 3 to 10 year warranty. All of these are similar, but you will not get auto carpet height adjustment, HEPA filtration, and lifetime belt.
What amazes me much is its separate canister. I have been using this machine for 6 months. I noticed, about a month ago, that my vacuum didn’t expel fresh smelling air. I thought it must be the dust from my old carpets that clogged it. So, I replaced it and I got my fresh air again.

This is exactly what you’d expect from Hoover. It’s a great vacuum – and we have a Great Pyrenees, so shedding is a major issue in our home – and the price is fair. I used to own a Fantom bagless and it was a WONDERFUL vacuum, however the replacement HEPA filters were cost prohibitive and emptying the cannister caused dust to leak into the air. Arrived fast and in a box I could lift easily. Assembly extremely easy and simple to figure out. I have 3 huge dogs – 2 German Shepherds and a Husky of which 2 have long hair and shed constantly in huge piles. This vacuum sucks it all up easily, though because I don’t vacuum daily some areas might require a second pass – no big deal to me. It is so lightweight I can easily vacuum the stairs.
