We have dogs at home, with kids and allergies, which all lead to frequent vacuum. And, we need the new one to replace our Kenmore canister vacuum.
This model applies a telescoping arm, a 3 filter system, some hand tool. I can turn off the power brush easily with a switch on its handle. Also, it has a switch for a vacuum suction strength.
It has a spinning brush on its powered hand tool which is not straightly powered. It seems to run by the vacuum suction that turns the brush. So if we press too hard, or with medium hard, you will halt the rotation. The suction power seems puny, which is comparable to the Kenmore. Also, the Hoover does not provide a place for hand power tool storage. You will need your closet in your house to store them, and my experience said, I frequently lose track of them.
I think that the Hoover WindTunnel S3670 feels more plastic than the Kenmore. I think it feels less durable. However, I have this Hoover for about four months and experienced no serious issues when speaking of breaking. The retractable cord feels less durable also than the Kenmore.
My old Kenmore applied two features that this Hoover does not. LED light is first. My Kenmore had LED lights on the nozzle edge. So, when I disconnected the power brush, I still had the light to see what I was doing. There was a dirt indicator light in my old Kenmore. It would turn green when the spot you I was cleaning was truly clean. Actually, I didn’t trust the indicator, but it looked cool.
Meanwhile, the Hoover WindTunnel S3670 applies two features that my old Kenmore did not have. First the bags are less inexpensive than the Kenmore. The second is its exhaust, which is placed on its top not the back. With that position, you can sit your base machine upright on the stairs, and you would not obstruct the exhaust.

I have been using Hoover for 21 years for one main reason, I never have any problems with their products.. I purchased this canister because I recently moved to a house with lots of bare floors. We have used the Hoover WindTunnel Canister Vacuum, Anniversary Edition, Bagged, for a month and I’m pleased with its cleaning both rug and wood/tile floors.
As noted in other reviews this machine is heavier than many less expensive vacuums, yet at the same time it does do better cleaning than the light-weight ones.
